Grégory PANOSYAN
Lawyer at the Paris Bar
Fees
In keeping with the internal rules of the Paris Bar, the firm’s fees are set in accordance with common practice depending on the means of the client, the difficulty of the case, the costs that are incurred by the attorney and the steps taken and procedures handled by the latter. The mode of remuneration moreover varies depending on the area of law involved. There are several modes of remuneration, depending on the nature and the difficulty of the case, and these are chosen in conjunction with the client:
-
A fee for time spent, at an hourly rate that is agreed beforehand
-
A fixed, all-inclusive fee for “standard” procedures in which there is little uncertainty (such as divorces by mutual consent). This method of payment involves determining a set fee for a given procedure at the very start of the process
-
A fixed fee together with a performance-related fee consisting of a percentage of any winnings. NB: no-win, no-fee remuneration schemes are prohibited under French law. They must always be combined with a fixed fee (art. 10 of France’s law of 31/12/1971).
In Asylum law, Maître PANOSYAN systematically intervenes with legal aid.
